Message Assuming you have a clutch that won't slip when your tires bite out of the hole, you want to launch (a manual) where you get just enough tire spin so the car doesn't bog, and when they bite you are loading the turbos (are at a high enough RPM) enough to have them light off. The more traction, the higher the RPM you can launch at, and have the engine be in it's "sweet spot", and under boost when the tires hook up. The less traction the more you have to "work", meaning launching at a lower RPM, and either pedal (modulate) the throttle or clutch until the tires hook. As you get better at launching your car, this process takes less and less time and you get better and better 60' times. The "you need to learn to drive your car" remarks to zboost(tx), could also be put as "practice, practice, practice". The less traction, the harder it is to launch a manual turbo car (I've found it to be extremely challenging), and the more skill and practice it takes. Play with your set up (well not your set up, but your cars'), meaning launching at different RPMs and playing with the pedaling of the gas and/or clutch, and find out what nets you the best 60'. Hope that makes sense. Take care, Mark
